What is the difference between bail and a bail bond?
Your bail amount is set by the court and is determined on a case by case basis.
Defendants may bond out of police custody by paying a percentage of the total bail amount to a licensed bail bondsman. The bail bond payment is final and serves as a financial guarantee that the defendant will appear in court. Failure to appear in court could result in an arrest warrant.
What happens if my charges are dropped?
Congratulations! In the event that your charges are dropped, you will likely save on future court costs and legal fees. However, case outcomes do not affect bail bonds. Once you’ve been bonded out, your payment cannot be refunded and any outstanding payments must be honored.
When is my court date?
When you are bonded out, you will be assigned a court date. Typically, this will fall 2-3 weeks after the date of your bond. If you are unable to attend court or have forgotten your assigned court date, you should call us ASAP.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. In addition to cash payments, we accept all major credit and debit cards.
Do i have to go to court?
Yes. If you miss your court date, your bond may be revoked and a judge can issue a warrant for your arrest.
